Sligo Towns annual show piece for the St Patricks Weekend returns again to the town centre. The Sligo St Patrick’s Day Parade starts at midday on Mail Coach Road and winding its way through the city down Temple St, Wine St, Quay St, O’Connell St, Grattan St and finishing on Pearse Road. This beloved event is the largest attended event in Sligo each year and is sure to be a day of music, dance, and fun for everyone.

The Sligo St Patricks Festival Committee are delighted to announce a unique collaboration between the Ceol na nOg Traditional Orchestra and the Sligo Academy of Music Sinfonietta. Both groups will combine for the first time under the supervision of Niamh Crowley and Stephen Doherty and will perform on an arrangement of music from the North West Suite composed by Stephen and arranged by Stephen and Niamh.
