Volunteer

This year, Sligo’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade is celebrating the county’s designation as the European Volunteering Capital for 2017 with the theme of “Volunteering – the Spirit of Sligo”. There are lots of ways to get involved – see below for details!

How To Get Involved?

Floats
Organisations are invited to submit floats focusing on the theme of Volunteering, taking inspiration from communities and projects which have benefitted from a volunteer effort. Register here: https://sligostpatricksday.com/take-part/
EVC Tribe – Community Participation
Separately, community organisations are invited to allocate two members to join a special European Volunteering Capital Tribe of volunteers which will participate in the parade, highlighting the broad range of activities and projects which Sligo volunteers support.
