It is free to enter the parade and anyone is welcome. Register at www.sligostpatricksday.com .
Parade starts at midday on March 17th on Mail Coach Road and flows through the town ending at Pearse Road past the Garda Station.

Streets in town will close at 11.45am. Please arrive early. There is lots of car parking on the outskirts of town also if do you arrive late.

There will be 3 wheelchair access viewing areas at O’Connell St, Quay St and Teeling St. We advise arriving as early as possible as space will be limited.
For anyone who may have sensory needs, there will be a Quiet zone at Quay St.
-There will be a Trad Trail of Trad Sessions around bars in town on Thurs March 16th, from 6-9pm and from 1-9pm on St Patricks Day.
-There will be two trad hubs along the route before and after the parade from 11.30 before the parade and after the parade, they will play again for 1 hour approx.
-Kids Disco at 2pm on March 17th on O’Connell St
-Live music at 3pm on O’Connell St on March 17th
-Don’t forget as always Sligo will have lots of music gigs each night and the best place to see all is www.sligomusicians.com
-Sat March 18th – Burlington Teen Tour Band all the way from Canada will march their 115 strong band through the town from Pearse Road at 2.30pm approximately, then will proceed through Castle St, Grattan, O’Connell St and finish at City Hall. Don’t forget Ireland v England in the 6 Nations finale is at 5pm so stick around after and enjoy the many venues showing the match.
